(4 Days/10 Hours )Per Week: 40 HoursFour 10 hour shifts or three 12 hour shifts, rotating 6-16:30 or 8-18:30 for 10 hours, 6am - 6 30 pm for 12 hour shifts, call required, minimum of three years experience preferred. Prefer scrub and circulator experience.Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure. Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure. Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.QUALIFICATIONSBLS and ACLSNational Institutes of Health (NIH)Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careRequires a minimum of two years of current RN CVOR experience.
