Job Title: Local Contract - Registered Nurse - Telemetry Number of positions: 1Years of experience: One to three years Shift: Day shifts- 40 hours Duration: 13 weeksStart Date: 04/21/2024Hourly pay: $41.65OT: 1.5Weekly Pay: $1,499.40JOB DESCRIPTIONSummaryDepartment: Telemetry Shift Timings: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours, Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hours shift.Per Week: 36 HoursRoles & ResponsibilitiesImplements and monitors patient care plans.Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Minimum Qualifications 2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience requiredMay need to float onsite within skill setQUALIFICATIONSBLS and ACLSNational Institutes of Health (NIH)Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careRequires a minimum of two years of current RN Telemetry experience.
