Senior Civil Project Manager

Award winning, multi-discipline planning, design and engineering firm with over 65 years of serving clients in both the public and private sectors. We maintain divisions that focus on civil engineering, urban design & planning, community planning, landscape architecture, transportation & traffic engineering, surveying, mapping, aerial photogrammetry, water resources, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and 3D laser scanning.

Position Overview
The Senior Civil Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful completion of land development projects, including residential subdivisions and public works projects. The main objective of this role is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, including design, permitting, construction, and closeout
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
  • Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that all project activities are in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
  • Lead project team meetings and provide guidance to team members
  • Identify and manage project risks and propose solutions to overcome challenges
  • Prepare and review project reports and deliverables

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering, and project management
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, grading, erosion control, hydraulic design, stormwater management, and Landmark software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing project budgets and schedules
  • Understanding of applicable codes and regulations
  • Experience with public works projects and residential subdivisions
