Job DetailsGreat facility in eastern Nebraska is looking for a CVOR tech for a travel assignment.
Job RequirementsBLS.Must graduate from an accredited school.Must have experience scrubbing vascular cases, heart cases and thoracic cases.Does not cover sterile processing.
Schedule InformationScheduling is done by CVOR coordinator, usually have the same day off each week or adjusted based on census- 4-10 hour shiftsCall is typically 1 day a week, call starts at 5pm-7amCall is typically 1 weekend a monthNo holiday call requirements as a traveler but will allow them to pick up if desiredCall response time is 30 minutes in the OR dressed and ready to go
Unit Specific InformationUnit CVOR Tech2 dedicated heart rooms/ 1 Hybrid suite and 1-2 open surgical rooms for various casesvaried Vascular/thoracic and heart cases scheduled each day throughout the weekCommon Cases include CABG/Valve replacement/Carotid Endarterectomy/Fem-pop bypass/Angios/thoracotomyCharge nurse/CVOR Coordinator and house supervisor available every dayMay have to float to Main OR if CVOR census low (this is rare)Unit/Department specific orientation where you Orient with other CVOR surgical tech for a few days
