Description
We are seeking a second psychiatrist to join our hospital-employed outpatient clinic in Columbus, Nebraska. The first physician is starting in the community in August 2019. We prefer candidates with Midwest ties.
Key Features:
Child Care Center on Campus
Financially Sound Hospital System with tenured staff
Full-time/Perm Placement - looking for a long-term member of the medical and Columbus community
Tele Psychiatry available in hospitals' Inpatient and ED departments
Medication Management / Therapy - full outpatient practice
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with future plans for extended hours to 7:00 pm one day per week.
Call Schedule:
One week on, one week off, split with the other psychiatrist. Emergency providers will handle after-hours calls regarding established patients as follows:
Weekdays:

5:00 PM – 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Weekends:

6:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Worksite Location:

Clinic in Medical Office Building attached to Columbus Community Hospital.
Patient Load:

Typically 12-14 patients per day, ages 5 years and up, 100% outpatient.
Additional Information:
Open to new grads. Salary range can be obtained from VP of Physician Relations/Business Development during the second phone interview. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. EMR used: Paragon Ambulatory – Allscripts product.
