Mechanical Engineer- Chelmsford - Ongoing (Immediate Start)
Location: Chelmsford
Hours of Work: Shift - 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am
Hourly Pay Rate: £23.00p/h PAYE
A World Leading Service Provider who operate on an International scale is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer based in the Chelmsford area working on a healthcare site in Chelsmford. The successful candidate would need good experience working in mechanical role and comes from a building services background.
Key Responsibilities include:
* PPM and reactive maintenance
* Fault finding and competent to rectify
* Regular fire alarm testing and drills. Ensuring the fire equipment is in working order and updating the fire alarm log book
* Liaise with management regarding health and safety procedures/issues, ongoing repairs and faults, maintenance and building services.
* Assisting with basic fabric duties on site
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
* Minimum C&G level/NVQ 2 in mechanical engineering OR plumbing
* Must be able to obtain a basic DBS
* Experience in commercial building services
* General maintenance experience
* Time served in an apprenticeship is an advantage
