Electrical Shift Leader
Northampton
£43,000 per annum plus £3,500 shift allowance

Are you a Shift Leader looking for a new challenge? Are you a Shift Technician looking for a step up? Our client is looking for an electrical shift leader ideally with experience of working in a critical environment such as a data centre, banking, healthcare or manufacturing environment.

The main purpose of this role is to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Electrical Services, and to carry out the role of Authorised Person HV/LV as required on a 24/7 rotating continental shift pattern.

Essential skills for this position:

• Conversant with a wide range of building service systems and equipment.
• Sound Electrical and Mechanical knowledge.
• Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices.
• City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
• 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
• Electrical Apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry.
• Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
• Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.

On offer is a permanent position, paying a salary of £46,500 per annum including shift allowance, working on a continental shift pattern, with 25 days annual leave and healthcare on offer.
