Salary: Competitive starting salary range from £31,691.00 - £33,807.00 per annum, (dependent upon experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

This role is based within Coventry University Online Learning, a sister company of Coventry University and part of the Coventry University Group.

The Role

Coventry University currently have an exciting opportunity for a SEO Executive to help CUOL with the establishment of GrowCo, a function within CUOL that will develop a strong marketing, sales and recruitment team allowing us to deliver to an even greater cohort of students from across the globe. This is pivotal role in helping GrowCo for the application and improvement of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) across all GrowCo websites and digital assets.

This is an exciting opportunity for a web-centric individual to join a growing business and support the scaling and advancement of the Universitys ODL learning initiative.

You will be leading the day-to-day management of SEO projects and campaigns, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link-building initiatives to improve search engine visibility, user experience, and conversion rates.

This will allow you to advise and collaborate with internal teams and other key stakeholders to develop and implement effective SEO strategies that align with business objectives. Implement an organic search strategy across our websites including onsite content, technical optimisations and offsite link building.

Our Successful Candidate

We are looking for individual who is educated to a graduate level in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or have an equivalent professional qualification, or can demonstrate relevant work experience. 5+ years experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related role as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will have a proven track record of success in improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic. With practical experience of analysing web data and designing and providing analytics reports.

Experience of taking complex information and using it to communicate clear recommendations for improvement.Working Knowledge of using keyword research/SEO tools like such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar platforms.

This role is based in Milton Keynes with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
