Product Communication Assistant, £28,317 - 6 month FTC
Hybrid, 3 in the office 2 at home
8am - 4.45pm, early finish on a Friday
Abingdon
Global CTS are working with an exciting client who are looking for a Product Communications Assistant to work within their Product Development & Marketing Department based at their office in Abingdon. This role would suit a new graduate looking for their first role after university or someone with at least one year’s experience in the workplace. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills within Marketing and a great stepping stone onto other things. Someone with creative skills or a creative degree or someone coming from a role within child development/ education would be desirable.
You will need to be available to start immediately or as close to this as possible.
Responsibilities
* Construction of word and voice lists, appropriate to age
* Selection of voice talent, overseeing recordings and voice testing
* Product program testing
* Copy writing for marketing materials including packaging, website text and mail order text
* Presenting items in detail to sales teams for new launch season
* Help develop new products within the UK’s range to the best possible standards including English voices, packaging and instruction manuals
* Researching market trends for new product ideas and innovative ways to market
Skills
* PC skills in the following packages, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and preferred knowledge of iPhotoShop and Indesign
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent standard of the English Language
* Ability to work under pressure
* Good attention to detail
* Adaptable and Flexible
* Good organisational skills
* Presentation skills
* Team player
* Interest in child development and education
* Interest in consumer electronics
* Technically minded
