Legal / Business Teacher – Barnsley College - Permanent - £27,850 to £31,280 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business department for a highly motivated and inspirational Business / Law Teacher to join our team. We are interested in hearing from individuals that have previously delivered A Level Law and/or T Level Business, or alternatively have occupational competency from working in industry, and are now looking to move into teaching.

Permanent vacancy – 37 hours per week
£27,850 to £31,280 per annum

Our new Business/ Law Teacher will contribute to the delivery of an exceptional learner experience across the range of Business and Legal T Levels, with a focus on developing learners ready for their next steps and achievement of their qualification. You will work collaboratively with a team of specialists to contribute to the development and organisation of the curriculum. Teachers will facilitate fun educational visits to provide students with an opportunity to develop their understanding of a particular subject and see first-hand the factors businesses need to be aware of so they can operate. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced educator with enthusiasm for teaching and learning. The aim of this role is to inspire and engage our learners, whilst contributing to the overall success rates, growth and development of the department.

The successful candidate will be professional with high standards and fully committed to ensuring our learners achieve their full potential helping them along their learner journey. Barnsley College also supports all staff members with their own CPD and provides opportunities to undertake further qualifications and training. We are happy to accept applications from newly qualified teachers and those looking to move in to teaching for this post, however you must already hold a Legal qualification or other relevant qualification to be considered.
