Job Brief

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicate individual to come and join our dnata Catering & Retail UK team as a Sales Support Executive to provide a first-class service to our business.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to gather, clean and process sales-related data, facilitating the identification of areas for improvement and offering administrative support to the Sales teams for existing accounts. Additionally, the role assists in the completion of tenders and maintenance of the sales pipeline.


Key Accountabilities

• Pipeline Management: Support the maintenance of the Pipeline

o Under the expert guidance of the Manager, actively contribute to the development and upkeep of the pipeline of opportunities by collating data to profile new customers and their objectives and needs

o Support the data richness of prospects to allow alignment with dcUK's goals


Bid Management: Support tender responses

o Owns the response to standard tender requests by creating and maintaining a data bank of standard responses

o Track and follow up the milestones set by the project plan for proposal completion


Key Collaboration: Collect, process and report on Sales Performance Data for Sales Teams

o Collect, clean, and process sales related data from various sources, including finance systems, spreadsheets, and databases, to support the extraction of meaningful insights and identification of trends relating to sales revenue, penalties, rewards etc.

o Prepare and distribute regular sales performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track progress against targets and provide visibility into key metrics.


This list is not exhaustive, accountabilities may vary dependant on location or market complexity and may include any other duties considered reasonable by the line manager.


Skills & Experience

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.) and Salesforce / Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM software: Ability to navigate way round systems, input and extract data and information to generate reports, presentations and visualizations.

• Attention to detail: Ability to accurately input and maintain data, ensuring data integrity and reliability.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with sales team

• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to support sales initiatives and achieve organizational goals.

• Understand needs of internal customer and able to provide support to the sales team

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field: A foundational understanding of business concepts and principles.

• Internship or relevant experience: Previous internship or work experience in sales and/or data analysis advantageous
