About the Company:

We are currently working with an excellent FE college who are looking for a Programme Lead in Engineering Apprenticeships. This would be ideal for an experience lecturer looking to take a the step up into a role with more responsibility or an already experienced leader in education looking for a change.


About the Role:

Reporting into the Head of Division you will lead a team of Trainer Assessors in delivering high quality apprenticeships in Engineering, working closely with employers to co-design the curriculum to meet their business needs. The role will involve providing support and information to potential learners, employers and staff so they understand the expectations of attaining and achieving their full Apprenticeship Standard with high grades. You will work closely with the Head of Division to support the team through CPD activities and development of their industry skills so that apprentice's benefit from a consistently excellent learning experience. You will be responsible for monitoring and leading on the outcomes of all apprentices in the sector area. Ensuring a high-quality experience for our apprentices and employers.


Responsibilities:

  • Substantial current experience of successful delivery Apprenticeship Standards in Engineering
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
  • GCSE grade C or equivalent qualification in both Maths and English
  • A recognised assessing qualification e.g. A1 Assessors Award
  • A recognised IQA qualification
  • Recognised teaching qualification at Level 3 or above or a willingness to undertake this
