Your Opportunity

Working together with JH’s Master Anaplanner and colleagues in all areas of our organisation, you will be in charge of ensuring new features are developed to the highest standards, to meet our clients’ needs. In addition to new development, you will be pivotal in establishing our Anaplan Centre of Excellence, as well as training more junior members of the team. You will ensure our solution is well documented and managed. You will have the opportunity of learning new technologies outside of your area to support the roadmap of the Finance & HR Technology Platforms.

Duties and responsibilities

• Work on the development of new models in Anaplan to progress our CoE roadmap
• Develop new features for existing Anaplan models
• Manage end-to-end implementation work, from collecting user stories, designing the technical implementations, deploying changes, to organising testing execution, under direction of the product owner
• Actively support establishing and maturing the target operating model, for example documenting processes and procedures
• Continuously and proactively seek improvement to the system by understanding customers’ activities and challenges
• Coach and train the internal development team to raise our team capacity
• Liaise with senior stakeholders to become a trusted business partner
• Deliver Anaplan models following the “Janus Henderson way” for product management and Agile delivery
• Support internal and external audit requests and actively promote a culture of internal controls

Must have skills

• Certified model builder with proven track record of delivering complex Anaplan solutions for internal or external clients
• 5+ full life cycle models delivered
• Skilled in all phases of project delivery. Comfortable challenging requirements, evaluating compromises between design options, and facilitating testing and deployment.
• Proven understanding of management accounting processes - preferred
• Model builder level 3 certified – preferred
