Construction Project Regional Manager - South

Salary: Competitive salary plus annual performance bonus, company car or car allowance, private medical and pension

Location: Home-based with travel across the South of the UK

What you'll be doing;


  • The Energy Projects Regional Manager will have oversight of a programme of projects within Veolia’s Energy Projects Construction team and has overall responsibility for the delivery of these projects.
  • Leading a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers in the construction phase of Energy Projects reporting to the Energy Projects Construction Team Manager.
  • Flexibility to work across Infrastructure or Water projects where required.
  • Deploying resources within the Construction Energy team to ensure that all projects are sufficiently resourced.
  • Developing and continuously improving the work processes, procedures and tools used by the team.
  • Reviewing Project Manager’s monthly reports and maintaining a high standard of reporting across the programme of projects.
  • Ensuring that a robust approach to risk management is in place and take an overarching view of the programme risks, ensuring appropriate measures are taken to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Providing continuous feedback to the Development Team to assist with the improvement of future project estimates and proposals.
  • Ensuring the team are effectively leading their projects and managing change.


What we're looking for;


  • Experience of complex and high value project management in a construction environment.
  • Leadership or people management experience within a similar environment.
  • Experience of relevant standard forms of contract, for example NEC4, MF/1, IChemE Red Book.
  • Strong time management and relationship management skills.
  • Experience of retrofit and live environment projects.
  • Experience of building services and building scopes of works.
