We are hiring a Marketing Executive for our two brands, Jimmy Garcia Catering and Jimmy’s Pop Up.

Jimmy Garcia Catering is one of London’s leading, owner operated special event caterers that work in prestigious London venues such as the Roundhouse, National Gallery, Kensington Palace and Somerset House. The company specialises in catering for creative events attracting the world’s pre-eminent brands and organisations for dinners, receptions, family days and conferences, exhibitions and product launches.

Jimmy’s Pop Up started back in 2011 when Jimmy opened a 25-seater pop-up restaurant in his front room in South West London, borrowing tables and chairs from the local church. Since then we have been popping up all over London and beyond, with regular pitches at Somerset House and the South Bank.

We are firmly on the path to growth and looking for an creative Marketing Executive to join our thriving team to support the Head of Marketing on all marketing activity for both brands. This full-time role is reporting to our Head of Marketing and is office based in Battersea, SW London.

As the Marketing Executive your responsibilities will include the execution of creative and engaging marketing campaigns, implementation of marketing strategies, and content writing for websites and campaigns. This role will allow you to continually develop your marketing skills, and there is a lot of scope for professional growth and career progression. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the Head of Marketing in all marketing activity across both brands:

• Copywriting, design and production of materials including, menus, posters, direct mailers, and online materials such as brochures, presentations, emails, promotional videos, and newsletters
• Collaborating on the concept, development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, product concepts and promotional programmes driving interest and sales
• Ensuring distribution of internal and external marketing materials and communications
• Understanding and maintaining the corporate brand in all marketing initiatives and campaigns
• Conducting market research
• Developing relationships with and working alongside internal or external teams, suppliers, and contractors to effectively promote sales or brand awareness through bespoke marketing campaigns
• Updating and creating content for both websites

Key Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a marketing role is preferred
• Outstanding writing and communication skills
• Computer skills including Canva, Microsoft office and or Google Workspace
• Good working knowledge of all core marketing areas, including content marketing, copywriting, multi-media, print, digital, social media, direct marketing, and promotional marketing
• Excellent time management and prioritisation capabilities, coupled with the ability to simultaneously work on various projects
• The ability to work well with cross-departmental team members, enabling collaboration and advice sharing
• A hands-on attitude and a can-do nature

Salary: c. 25k basic salary according to experience + benefits including, training, wellbeing programme, company socials, and more. Please note this role is full-time, office based in SW London. Applicants MUST include a cover letter with their application outlining their relevant experience.
