The Oracle Academy systems team is seeking an experienced IT analyst to manage all aspects of system projects from initiation to delivery.

Review, analyze and evaluate complex business needs requiring system solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, design and acquire approvals on effective solutions.

Prepare detailed system requirement documents, including process flow diagrams, detailed specifications, UI content, wireframe mock-ups, etc.

Coordinate with technical teams to ensure project specifications are properly implemented.

Overseeing all aspects of implementation including planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, communications, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Candidates must have experience in the following areas:

Developing and managing detailed project plans

Preparing system requirement documentation

Managing all aspect of testing (create plan, create test cases, manage testers, bug prioritization and resolution)

Leading system project teams (meetings, communications, task management)

System training (training documentation, live & recorded demonstrations, inquiry management)

Software - - Word, Excel, Projects, Visio, Confluence, Jira, Confluence, Primavera (preferred, not required)

Qualified candidates will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be well organized and able to work both independently and as part of a group. You must be flexible, able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, lead and collaborate with team members located across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

Review, analyze and evaluate complex business needs requiring system solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, design and acquire approvals on effective solutions.

Prepare detailed system requirement documents, including process flow diagrams, detailed specifications, UI content, wireframe mock-ups, etc.

Coordinate with technical teams to ensure project specifications are properly implemented.

Overseeing all aspects of implementation including planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, communications, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

As part of a software project implementation team, provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user needs. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business specifications. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

US: Hiring Range: from $76,600 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
