Main Job Role:


The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of HVAC projects (heat pumps, chillers, boilers, ventilation), from supporting design and estimation through to final handover. This role includes managing a team of PAYE engineers, subcontractors.


You will also be responsible for effectively managing resources and ensuring financial accountability, with full responsibility for the Profit & Loss of each project. Project values will range from £50K to £3million.


While the majority of projects are located in London and the South East, you will be expected to support projects on a national level as needed.


What We’re Looking For:


  • HVAC Experience: Strong mechanical engineering background, managing heating, boiler and large pipework projects with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. A strong air conditioning and controls knowledge is preferrable.
  • Team Player: Collaboration is key to our success, and we want people who thrive in a team setting.
  • Computer Literate: Proficient in the use of Microsoft products including MS Project.
  • Problem-Solver: We value those who can think on their feet and find creative solutions to challenges while communicating effectively with the stake holders.
  • Commercial Skills: Acute commercial skills and attention to detail on project finances to maintain target P&L including managing changes to project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate variation techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members, engaging with clients, or coordinating with stakeholders, the ability to convey information clearly and effectively is critical.
  • Essential Qualifications: NVQ3 qualified or have extensive equivalent experience.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Degree or HND, Project Management Professional.
