Bid Specialist

Are you an experienced Bid Specialist looking for a busy and varied role that allows you to utilise your range of sales and broking skills within a close-knit team? If so, apply now as we are looking for an Bid Specialist to join our Gatwick / London office on a hybrid model. You will be responsible for writing and managing bids for large tenders in both the public and private sectors for the Air Partner Group.

You will oversee the end-to-end bid process, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning proposals. To be effective in this role you will need to demonstrate proven writing ability, be passionate about creating exceptional and compelling bids and be able to work across the business to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Accountabilities

• Pro-actively search for suitable tenders in the Government and Corporate space that Air Partner can tender for in the UK and across our worldwide office network
• Respond to a variety of bid types including EOIs, RFPs, RFIs and RFQs
• Construct written proposals and tender responses including content and presentation
• Manage inputs from key stakeholders including HR, Tech, Legal, and Technical experts from around the business
• Understand and sell the services of the company within a written response including awareness of the strengths and weaknesses of competing tenderers
• Responsible for ensuring tenders are submitted ahead of the deadlines set
• Ensure that all bids are fully compliant with the requirements of the tender
• Working across international territories to identify, construct, and lead suitable tender responses for the company

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated previous success of winning previous tenders ideally for the provision of Aviation Services within the Government sector and/or Corporate sectors
• Knowledge of Tender Opportunity on-line platforms and portals
• Understanding of best practice bidding strategies and methodologies
• Knowledge of legal obligations set within tender requirements
• Understanding of the role that the Environment and Social Responsibility plays within a tender response and how to articulate this effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to construct and deliver complex bids of high value
• Strong networking and relationship building skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, co-ordinating multiple tender responses across all our products and international territories
