Abion UK is looking for an IP enthusiast with a first or 2.1 degree in law.

What does that mean?

We are looking for a graduate who can work well with legal research tools, software, and Microsoft Suite, and with strong tech abilities. Of course, you must have a great sense of detail and a results-driven mindset but also thrive in a busy environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential.

In this role you will be based in our London office close to St Paul’s. Fluency business level of English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

What you’ll do:

• Support the UK IP Team and Abion colleagues with administrative tasks, including correspondence and calendar management.
• Organize and maintain IP records, such as trademarks, designs, and patents.
• File trademark and design applications and renewals at the UKIPO and WIPO and in foreign jurisdictions.
• Monitor and update internal and external IP deadlines for clients.
• Communicate with clients, trademark examiners, and foreign colleagues on IP matters.
• Prepare cost estimates and ensure billing accuracy according to client guidelines.
• Contribute to improving work routines, systems, and processes with client partner.
