Role Description

Managing and leading the team of this 36 place West Ealing Nursery. The Nursery Manager role is full time and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, safety and well-being of children, leading the team, working with parents and other professionals and ensuring our high standards are maintained.

Experience / Qualifications

• Full & Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3+)
• Maths & English GCSE Grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2
• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience shaping little lives, with proven Management skills.
• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager/Deputy Manager
• Great communication skills, including the ability to understand babble
• A sense of humour which allows you to see the silver lining of every situation and have fun each and every day.
• A team player with the ability to be flexible to the needs of the children and the team, with experience of leading a team including conducting performance management processes e.g. induction, supervision meetings, appraisals and setting objectives.
• A passion for a play based approach to children’s learning and development
• Patience & passion, enabling you to build effective & lasting relationships that will reward you with love, pride & a sense of achievement you won’t find in other roles!
