Global Head of Learning and Development


An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global financial services company who are currently recruiting for a strategic focused L&D Advisor with international experience to join their London based HR Team. In this role you will collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders to shape, develop and deliver L&D strategies globally.


Essential Skills and Experience:

L&D:

  • Create and implement learning and development strategies and programs globally, understanding the medium- and long-term growth plans.
  • To assess individual and organisational development needs, identify skill gaps and future learning requirements globally.
  • Track learning effectiveness, including recording, reporting and analysis of training records.
  • Assess the success of development plans and to work with employees and managers to support career development.
  • Supply accurate management information to the Executive team and any other stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Forecast current and future learning and development costs, advise on the right course of action.
  • E-learning platform content; ensuring access is maintained and that the material is relevant.
  • Keep abreast of latest learning and development products and approaches.
  • Onboarding of employees, support the global team when necessary.
  • Management of external learning funded by the organisation such as apprenticeships, certifications, and other funded opportunities.
  • Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback and identify areas of improvement.


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing L&D strategies in a growing team
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Sufficiently developed analytical skills with the ability to analyse a variety of data, determine validity, draw conclusions and make recommendations in a clear, concise and easily understandable manner.
  • Highly numerate with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Resourceful, innovative and proactive self-starter.


Desirable:

  • Business level fluency in Spanish (both written and verbal).
  • International experience.
  • Familiar with HR systems.
  • Experience handling Employee Relation issues.
