Global Head of Learning and Development
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global financial services company who are currently recruiting for a strategic focused L&D Advisor with international experience to join their London based HR Team. In this role you will collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders to shape, develop and deliver L&D strategies globally.
Essential Skills and Experience:
L&D:
- Create and implement learning and development strategies and programs globally, understanding the medium- and long-term growth plans.
- To assess individual and organisational development needs, identify skill gaps and future learning requirements globally.
- Track learning effectiveness, including recording, reporting and analysis of training records.
- Assess the success of development plans and to work with employees and managers to support career development.
- Supply accurate management information to the Executive team and any other stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Forecast current and future learning and development costs, advise on the right course of action.
- E-learning platform content; ensuring access is maintained and that the material is relevant.
- Keep abreast of latest learning and development products and approaches.
- Onboarding of employees, support the global team when necessary.
- Management of external learning funded by the organisation such as apprenticeships, certifications, and other funded opportunities.
- Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback and identify areas of improvement.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing L&D strategies in a growing team
- Experience in project management and budgeting.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and practices.
- Sufficiently developed analytical skills with the ability to analyse a variety of data, determine validity, draw conclusions and make recommendations in a clear, concise and easily understandable manner.
- Highly numerate with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Resourceful, innovative and proactive self-starter.
Desirable:
- Business level fluency in Spanish (both written and verbal).
- International experience.
- Familiar with HR systems.
- Experience handling Employee Relation issues.
