Digital Copywriter

We are partnering with a fast-growing fashion brand who are on the lookout for a Digital Copywriter. You will play a key part in the Digital team, working collaboratively with the wider creative team to cement brand TOV and ensure messaging is consistent across all touchpoints. You’ll be creating copy to establish a strong brand identity, working closely with the Creative Content, Ecommerce and Social teams. Alongside creativity, the ideal person will be able to utilise data and insights to convert customers across product descriptions, landing pages, emails, social media and creative campaigns.

The Role

• Work collaboratively with the Creative team to shape and create the look and feel of updated website, ensuring all content has a consistent style and TOV
• Create high-quality, on brand content that aligns with the target audience to create a clear and updated brand identity
• Use SEO tools to conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities, supporting with the content strategy
• Responsible for content optimisation execution, including headings, meta data, keyword strategy, internal linking, and demonstrating helpful content and E-E-A-T. This will include PLP’s, PDP’s and category pages
• Implement and manage on-page SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and rankings
• Provide regular reporting on top performing PLPs, PDPs and blog content, while outlining areas for improvement

Skills required

• A minimum of two years experience working in a Copywriting or Content team within the fashion space
• A true passion for fashion, with an understanding of trends, competitors and industry news
• Previous experience writing for websites, with experience using CMS platforms and managing content releases
• Good knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices with experience in delivering high performing SEO content
• A wider understanding of marketing and creative and the role content plays in this
• Experience with SEO tools, ideally GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs and SEMrush
• Understanding of SEO redirects
• Experience reporting on content metrics and KPIs to stakeholders
• Previous Shopify experience would be a bonus
