Sentara CarePlex in Hampton, VA is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse for the Stepwon Unit (SDU)/Intermediate Care Unit.

Shift: Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Full-time: Weekly Scheduled Hours: 36

Requirements - one of the following is required:

  • Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
  • Registered Nurse License (VA License and/or Compact/Multi-State)
  • Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program
  • Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License

This is a busy 24-bedunit where we care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit. We provide for respiratory compromised patients on Bipap, high-flo and/or chronic long-term vents. We manipulate and titrate vasoactive infusionsand have bedside monitors. We provide care for patients with DKA, CHF, Pneumonia, and much more.

Job Summary

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
