The Infusion Coordination Specialist (ICS) is an integral member of the Bennett Cancer Center. In this role, you will find meaningful work and become part of a team where you make a difference in the lives of others. As the primary treatment coordinator, the ICS is the departmental specialist who works to ensure that the infusion center schedule is optimized to provide efficient operations. They work in a dynamic team environment to problem-solve and collaborate with the goal of providing excellent ongoing patient experiences. As liaison for infusion patients and communications, the ICS provides superior customer service to patients, caregivers, clinicians, external and internal staff in accordance with the department's service standards and must exhibit a high level of comfort with multitasking and problem solving. The ICS exhibits compassion for patients receiving a cancer or other critical diagnosis and inspires confidence in patients that excellent care is the paramount goal in the department. The Infusion Coordination Specialist reports directly to the Nurse Manger of the Infusion Suite and works closely in collaboration with the Practice Coordinators in MOH.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare customer service environment required.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in a Windows environment.
  • BA/BS degree/college coursework preferred; HS diploma or GED required.
  • Bi-lingual capability highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
