Key Stage 1 Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

Location: Harrow

Job Type: Full Time, Long Term

About the role:

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be working with a class of bright, eager learners, helping them to build strong academic foundations while also nurturing their social and emotional growth. You’ll be planning and delivering exciting lessons that engage young minds, making learning fun and accessible for all children. The successful candidate will be fully supported by senior staff and will work alongside a dedicated teaching assistant in the classroom. Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience in teaching KS1 (desirable but not essential).

• A passion for inspiring young learners.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities.

• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and senior staff to ensure student success.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and encourage a love of learning in your students.
