Requirements

The role:

Are you a strategist who is secretly a little bit addicted to social? If so, then welcome to the club. We’re looking for a culturally tapped-in thinker who loves bridging the gap between what our clients need and what our award-winning creative, social and influencer teams can do for them. Someone who cares about the wording of their creative briefs and the accuracy of their insights. We want a data-driven storyteller who can bring both external and internal teams on the journey with them to business-changing social strategies. If you want to build the future of the UK’s most exciting brands on social, then NewGen is your happy place.

Responsibilities:
  • Gathering key data (leveraging our D&I team and suite of software) that ensures strategies are well informed and laid out clearly to easily involve all key teams from social, influencer and accounts.
  • Build relationships with key clients to proactively build plans, ensuring we bring their brands and products success across both always on and campaign activity
  • Writing clear and insightful briefs, involving, inspiring and informing the creative and social teams.
  • Analysing client's context and landscape to uncover opportunities to stimulate growth hand in hand with accounts teams.
  • Support in campaign and comms planning for key campaign moments that will live on client channels
  • Lead quarterly and proactive client workshops to build and iterate the account’s strategic development.
  • Lead the response to major creative campaign briefs and represent the agency in cross-agency RTB’s
  • Lead and support the strategic development of pitch responses alongside senior strategy team members.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of agency experience (Minimum three years in a strategy role)
  • 3+ years of experience in Influencer Marketing, Social Media or Digital Marketing
  • Proven track record of developing strategies for social-first campaigns and a natural love of brand social.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the social media space and comfort in influencer marketing principles
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to be client facing on a regular basis with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Comfortable developing and presenting your work in a collaborative way that involves multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
  • Understand Influencer Marketing and Social Metrics (Impressions / Reach / Engagements).

Benefits

  • 36 days holiday per year, including a 10 day block "reset", Christmas closure and birthday day off.
  • Subsidised bespoke benefits package giving you access to benefits you want (Childcare, enhanced pension, healthcare, gym, Netflix, Deliveroo, you name it, it's on there)
  • Mental Health partnership with Lifeworks giving you access to therapy and counselling, and your immediate family access to a huge range of resources.
  • Access to Vitality healthcare for health insurance support
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity policy as well as enhanced policies for same-sex and non-binary couples.
  • Enhanced compassionate leave so you can truly take the time you need.
  • Flexible working hours giving you an earlier start for an earlier finish or later start for a later finish.
  • Company away days!
  • Community days - we give you time off to go support a cause you believe in!
  • Plenty of clubs/societies - and if we don't have something that suits then you can always suggest it.
  • Holiday office closure & additional time off for religious holidays
