About the role: Are you a passionate and nurturing individual with a Level 2 Early Years qualification, eager to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? We are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive school in Haringey, London. As a vital member of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team, you will work closely with the class teacher to create an engaging, safe, and supportive learning environment for children in their formative years. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide hands-on support to children in their early years, assisting with classroom activities, small group work, and one-on-one support where necessary. You’ll play a key role in fostering curiosity, creativity, and social development, helping each child to achieve their full potential.

Application Requirements:

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years or a relevant field.
• Previous experience working with young children is highly desirable.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to support children with varying learning needs and styles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in the daily running of the classroom.
• Support children in small groups or one-on-one, ensuring they are engaged and learning.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Contribute to planning and delivering creative activities that promote child development.
• Monitor and report on children’s progress to teachers and parents.
