Graduate Analyst - Real Estate Debt Advisory

This is an opportunity for a graduate to join a boutique real estate advisory firm which has a long track record of helping their clients to buy and sell assets and raise capital (debt and equity) for those transactions.

This role sits in their debt advisory team. The firm is a true debt advisor working closely with their clients through the full transaction lifecycle.

They are looking for somebody with 1 of 3 profiles:

• A graduate with a real estate degree
• A graduate with a non-real estate degree but has done an internship in real estate
• Somebody with up to 12 months full time real estate experience

A more detailed job spec:

Origination:

• Lead alongside Partners in the origination of new debt and equity advisory clients and mandates. We envisage this individual to take ownership over certain client relationships in time.

Evaluation of Deals:

• Conduct due diligence on potential clients
• Analyse transaction from a qualitative and quantitative assessments
• Undertake economic and market research to validate assumptions within proposals
• Preparing presentations consisting of producing various cashflow models to determine debt capacity and appropriate financing structures to include senior debt, mezzanine as well as structuring joint ventures
• Prepare full Deal Memo to present to Lenders, and consider which Lenders would be appropriate to approach

Deal Execution:

• Present the investment opportunity to targeted lenders on behalf of clients with detailed analysis of investment rationale, valuation and capital structure considerations as well as potential exit strategies.
• Negotiate terms offered by lenders and present back to clients
• Assist Lender in obtaining credit approval
• Review legal documents and assist the Borrower in presenting deal and information to other Lender stakeholders including Valuers

Salary is £35,000 p.a. + bonus.
