Job Description

Kido Elephant Park are looking for a Front of House to welcome our families, team and visitors. You will be the face of the nursery and work along side our management team to help run the day to day routine of the setting.

Why the role exists?

The Front of House role is a vital role that provides a link between the exceptional service that we offer for our children and the high standards that we excel at meeting for their parents/carers.

As Front of House you will be the first point of contact for families with Kïdo and then continues to make a family’s experience at the school a true success in terms of delivering on our promises, maintaining exceptional communication, being the key person that can provide expertise, knowledge and support as their children develop and grow with Kïdo. You are also responsible for making sure that the Nursery Managers are fully supported by carrying out all administrative and finance duties at the schools and supporting the Managers and Practitioners to be able to do their roles to the best that they can, this involves juggling many business operations alongside exceptional people skills.

What will you do?

As Front of House you’ll be:

  • You will be responsible for driving exceptional customer service, always looking to go the extra mile for our children and families, and you will work in partnership with the Management team to ensure smooth running of the nursery.
  • Support in promoting community presence, open days & events, spreading the word about Kïdo to build an interactive, fun and supportive community within our school, and spread word of mouth throughout the local area.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of our children, staff and families is paramount at all times, following policies and procedures.
  • Aa a true champion for the Kïdo values, you ensure that every child and family receive the very best service from us throughout their whole journey all the way from initial enquiry, throughout their entire membership and upon graduation.
  • You will support with sales and enquiries, enrolment and membership queries, marketing activities and be the primary point of contact. You will excel at interpersonal communications and always seek to pre-empt questions and proactively problem solve.
  • You will support with finances within the nursery, this will include invoicing, debt management and liaising with local authorities for children's funding.
  • You will take ownership for all administrative duties within the school, being highly organised and efficient to ensure that operations are smooth and seamless.
  • You will carry out duties as requested by the Nursery Managers to support the nursery team to be able to fully fulfil their roles.
  • You’ll manage the nursery inbox and have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as be computer and Excel literate.
  • Working closely with the Nursery Manager and the school team you’ll immerse yourself in the Kïdo culture and curriculum so that you’re able to confidently represent Kïdo at every opportunity.
