About The Position
- Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Wound Ostomy **Job Specialty:** Wound Ostomy Care **Job Duration:** 12 Weeks **Shift:** Monday to Friday - 10-hour shifts **Guaranteed Hours:** After 48 hours **Experience:** 1+ years in Wound Ostomy, including travel experience **License:** Active Nursing License with NURSYS Verification **Certifications:** Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) **Must-Have:** - Flu Vaccine for the 2024-2025 flu season - Graduation from an accredited Wound Ostomy Continence nursing education program **Job Description:** - Work with the Wound Ostomy team. - Required to float between multiple campuses. - Perform wound vac dressings, placements, and debridement. - Conduct ostomy care, including pouch changes and patient education. - Provide specialty bed recommendations for weight distribution. - Knowledge of wound vac systems and techniques is essential. - Scrub color can be any choice. Please ensure that the candidate can meet all the specified must-have requirements, particularly the flu vaccine, as no exemptions are allowed.
