JOB TITLE (#25061): Registered Nurse / Psychiatric/Mental Health - Flowery Branch, GA

Minimum of 3 years current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Psychiatric or Mental Health Registered Nurse to fill an opening with an Outpatient Clinic located in Flowery Branch, Georgia

Schedule of the Registered Nurse:

• This is a Full-time position
• Eight (8), ten (10), or twelve (12)-hour shifts or a combination, with rotating weekends and holidays
  
  
  

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

• Expert in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric problems and the use of de-escalation techniques
• Mental health nurses work as part of a team to provide total medical care for patients
• Evaluating the mental health needs of patients, Facilitating and conducting contraband searches,
• Monitors and conducts timely evaluations of the mental health environment of care,
• Developing treatment plans, providing psychotherapy services and personal care,
• Coordinating with families, doctors, and other health professionals, and administering
• medications
• May be required to work with COVID-19-positive patients and Patients Under Investigation (PUI), for COVID-19
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years current (must have worked within the last six months) experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit
• Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in a related field or a master's degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred
• Must have an unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States)
