Skilled Construction Worker Playground Installation

You’ll follow the project foreman’s direction to prepare job sites, load and unload material, remove debris, help team members, and do any other tasks to ensure the customer is satisfied with our work. Responsibilities: • Clear away any trash, debris, or hazardous materials to prep the site before construction begins • Ensure that all materials, tools and other debris from the build have been removed at the end of the project to make sure the work site is clean • Stack and prep all of the tools and building materials that are needed for a project in order to keep everything organized • Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to ensure that you and your team members are not injured • Be available to help onsite tradespeople and heavy equipment workers as needed, to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing, and any other aspect of the project • Assist in the preparation of playground sites, including excavation, grading, and drainage • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of playground equipment • Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and anchor playground structures, swings, slides, and other components according to manufacturer guidelines • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects • Operate construction equipment and tools, such as drills, saws, and compactors, in a safe and effective manner • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality Qualifications: • Should have general knowledge of building and construction, but we are willing to provide training • Important to be able to work independently and with a team, take direction and follow-through • Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools highly preferred • This work requires physical agility, solid hand-eye coordination, and a good sense of balance • A high school diploma or GED is preferred • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications • Experience operating construction equipment and machinery preferred • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly
