Key Stage 2 Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

Location: Harrow

Job Type: Part Time

About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is keen to make a real difference in the lives of our students. You will be responsible for teaching a mixed-age class, designing engaging lesson plans that cater to varied learning styles and ensuring that all children are supported in reaching their potential.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and have a genuine enthusiasm for fostering a love of learning in students. You will work closely with our team of support staff and other teachers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in a primary setting.

• A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, staff, and parents effectively.

• A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement in teaching practice.

• An understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a supportive learning community.

• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

• Contribute to the school’s ethos and culture of respect, inclusivity, and high expectations.
