Graduate Executive Search Consultant - Finance

This is a rare opportunity to join a global Executive Search firm as part of their London-based team.

They are looking to hire 3 recent graduates with strong academic pedigree (AAB at A Level or equivalent IB / GPA, 1:1 or 2:1 from a global top 50 University) and an interest in the investment banking & finance sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, and entrepreneurial gradate to get fast exposure to the finance sector, whilst developing essential career skills such a; researching, pitching, negotiating, running clients meetings and strategic selling.

This firm only occasionally open their doors to Junior Associates, and they offer an exceptional platform for a challenging, lucrative and long-term career in executive search.

By taking on only a handful of junior associates per year, the firm can maintain focus on high-calibre individuals, and in-depth one to one training as you will work alongside the founding Directors.

• Confidently able to lead conversations with individuals of any level, from graduates to C-Suite
• Inquisitive and thoughtful, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Intelligent and analytical, always with an actionable outcome in mind
• Ability to research for complex projects and present findings in a logical way
• Confident to make cold calls for headhunting purposes
• Confident to attend and shadow client meetings
• Articulate and excellent, professional written communication skills
• A clear interest in the finance sector, specifically investment banking
• Can execute initiative looking for multiple ways to solve problems of own volition
• An exceptional recent graduate or someone with up to 2 years experience in a relevant field looking to move to a new role (for example previous recruitment experience or experience in the finance sector)

The role

As an Associate, you are at the forefront of activity and learning skills that will form the basis of a long term career in executive search. The basics will never leave you and set you up for success. The job is multi-faceted covering tasks such as:

• Running research projects for prestigious clients in the UK and USA
• Creating market maps
• Professional networking
• Cold calling through lists of individuals identified to headhunt
• Setting up meetings for senior colleagues
• Shadowing on meetings and pitches
• Supporting with pitch decks and proposals

Salary and Earning Potential

• Base salary starts at £25 - £30k (experience dependent) with extraordinary long-term earning potential.
• Realistic first year OTE £60,000
• 2nd Year OTE £80,000
