About the role:
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team part-time, focusing on booster sessions for low-achieving students. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education and committed to helping every child reach their full potential. You will work closely with our experienced teachers to design and deliver targeted interventions that support students who need a little extra help to catch up and excel. Application Requirements:
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 students or in a similar educational setting.
• A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in children’s lives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and well-being.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Key Stage 1 teachers in planning and delivering effective booster sessions tailored to the needs of low-achieving students.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to help students develop their literacy and numeracy skills.
• Use creative teaching strategies to engage students and encourage a love of learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
