About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in challenging behaviours to join our team full-time starting in September 2024. This role is essential as we continue to enhance our support for students with specific needs. The position is a long-term opportunity that offers a salary of £85-£100 per day. You will be working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, helping them to engage with the curriculum and overcome behavioural challenges.
Application Requirements:
• Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly with challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of various SEN strategies and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to create and implement behaviour management plans tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted support to students with challenging behaviours, both in class and during individual sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
• Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback and reporting as necessary.
• Assist with creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
