Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time
Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with ASD, especially those who are non-verbal? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in September 2024. In this full-time, long-term role, you will work within our ARP classes, supporting 15-20 students with a range of needs. Experience with non-verbal students is highly valued, and while a relevant qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory. Your role will be instrumental in helping our students build self-confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly non-verbal students, is highly desirable.
• A qualification related to special educational needs is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to non-verbal students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Implement and adapt strategies and interventions to enhance learning and social interactions.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adjusting approaches as needed.
