Job Description
**Job Title:** Dual-Modality Technologist
**Job Specialty:** CT Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, MRI Technologist
**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** Monday-Friday, float tech used to cover day shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of previous radiology experience
**License:** Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist)
**Certifications:** American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CT, American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
**Must-Have:** Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, and documented competencies in Radiology and CT
**Job Description:**
- Deliver high-quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
- Perform CT and X-Ray procedures independently, producing images for interpretation by or request of a licensed practitioner.
- Support outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.
- Perform quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.
- Operate with limited supervision while maintaining high attention to detail, customer needs, and high reliability.
- Assist medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate.
- Perform ancillary duties required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
- Complete documentation needed for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
- Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.

- Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and professionalism at all times.
- Exercise tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintain confidentiality.
- Successfully perform essential job functions in a busy and stressful environment.
- Learn current and new computer applications and office equipment.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Work varied shifts as scheduled and/or needed.
**Additional Information:**
- Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered for the assignment.
- Facility reserves the right to cancel three shifts per the 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Holiday coverage required.
