Job Description
**Job Title:** Neonatal/Pediatric Transport Specialist
**Job Specialty:** Respiratory Care
**Job Duration:** Direct Hire
**Shift:** 7pm-7am
**Guaranteed Hours:** 24 hours per week
**Experience:** Preferred minimum of 1 year in NICU and Pediatric ICU
**License:** Must have successfully completed the Registered Respiratory Therapist and Perinatal Specialist Exam (NPS Credential) from the NBRC.
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), S.T.A.B.L.E., Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications, or must obtain within 6 months from date of hire
**Must-Have:**
- Graduate of a respiratory therapy program
- Able to be on call
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Maintain active air and ground transport capability
**Job Description:**
- Provide excellent, quality care to critically ill infants and pediatric patients
- Demonstrate and maintain competency in all therapeutic respiratory procedures
- Effectively serve as a clinical instructor for affiliate students and new staff
- Maintain high expertise in the technology required for neonatal intensive care
- Act as a leader by providing education and sharing knowledge with coworkers
- Serve as a resource within the team
- Opportunities to serve as an NRP instructor or in charge roles as needed
