Job Description

**Job Title:** RRT Float - Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

**Job Specialty:** NICU/PICU

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night, 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum 18 months of recent NICU or PICU experience; Trauma 1 experience in a children's hospital within the last year required

**License:** Indiana State License or compact license in hand

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, RRT, NRP (required for those placed in L&D), PALS preferred

**Must-Have:**
- Skillset in NICU, PICU, Vents
- Experience with Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5

**Job Description:**
- Work primarily in NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics, with the possibility of floating between these units and to affiliated hospitals.
- Required to work every weekend and 2 out of 3 holidays falling within the contract.
- Orientation includes 12 hours of training.
- Minimum commitment of three 12-hour or four 12-hour shifts per week.
- Positions are open to first-time travelers.
- A university degree must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at graduation.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but flu vaccination is mandatory, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
- Maintain an updated knowledge and skillset for assigned specializations.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.

**Additional Notes:**
- Candidates must have at least 18 months of recent specialized experience in NICU or PICU.
- Floating requirements necessitate adaptability to work within different units or hospitals.
