Grade 4 Math and Strategies Teacher

Sturgeon School Division is currently recruiting for a Part -Time Temporary Grade 4 Math and Strategies Teacher to join the team at Landing Trail School. Landing Trail School, located in Gibbons, has a student population of approximately 400 students, with approximately 80 students accessing non-denominational Christian faith based (LOGOS) programming. From preschool to grade 4, Landing Trail School offers dynamic and well-rounded programming to support and nurture students' development to prepare them for a bright future. Assignment: 0.8 FTE; Part-Time Temporary Grade 4 Math and Strategies Teacher Qualifications: A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Training and background teaching at the Elementary level Experience teaching differentiated instruction and supporting students with diverse learning needs Ability to create a positive classroom environment as part of a safe and caring school Ability to work in a collaborative school team environment Maintain and create positive home-school relations Contribute to the school and community First Aid and TCI training (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) would be an asset ABOUT STURGEON PUBLIC SCHOOLS Sturgeon Public Schools prides itself on doing things a little differently.
