Job Description

Responsible Adult (Casual) Your Role As a responsible adult , who loves to work with children, you will provide general supervision to children in the classroom and on the school property while developing relationships, providing encouragement, advice and assistance to students throughout the school day. With strong verbal and interpersonal skills, you will help to foster and encourage positive social interaction with students, staff and the school community while assisting the classroom teacher or Early Childhood Educator. With health and safety in mind you will be a positive role model for the school. Qualifications include high school graduation or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months experience working with children or youth. Successful completion of the Responsible Adult course is preferred. Proficiency with basic digital literacy, internet safety and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is required. Casual work: Calls for work are daily, between 6am and 9am Wage: $27.72 per hour Applications for this position should include a cover letter, detailed resume of related training and experience, and names and email addresses of a minimum of 2 work related professional references, preferably from Managers or supervisors.
