Key Stage 1 Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

Location: Cheshunt

About the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, available due to a maternity leave replacement starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for a class of 30 Year 1 students, fostering a love for learning in a dynamic and engaging classroom environment by delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting individual learning needs. Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a primary school setting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for nurturing children’s social and academic development.
• Knowledge of special educational needs and inclusive teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to implement individualized learning plans for students with SEN.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and school events.
