The Role

The Online Trading Assistant for HOKA is accountable for supporting and executing the onsite trading and merchandising planning (where needed/when necessary the assistant online trader will help across PLG EMEA websites). The Online Trading Assistant will support the Trading Manager/Assistant Trading Manager in developing the commercial offering and will be at the forefront of all plans for both merchandising and creative execution as well as ensuring trading KPI's are continuously improved.

Your Impact:
  • Working alongside HOKA Trade Manager/Assistant Trading Manager/Online Trader to support the delivery of the FR market plan
  • Supporting the Online Trader with product cycle and ensuring product launches are correctly enriched.
  • Running weekly and monthly reports and supporting the Trading Manager/Assistant Trading Manager by providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Supporting the consistency of the FR website and localisation initiatives
  • Working closely with online marketing teams, regional planning teams, buying team, UX & Content, as well as brand retail and visual merchandise teams
  • Supporting the cadence of FR specific meetings/reports e.g. FR returns, FR SWOT analysis, key city personalisation/localisation working with the UX team
  • Conducting competitive analysis to support the Trading Manager/Assistant Trading Manager with insights and A/B test ideas.
  • Completing high level commercial reporting including stock turnover and slow-moving stock, and ensuring the business has clear, regular visibility of performance.
  • Helping to trouble shoot issues and raising support requests where necessary.

We would Love to Hear from People with:
  • Digital trading or merchandising experience ideally within fashion apparel or sports.
  • Previous exposure to site running multiple product campaigns across multiple brands, ideally in multiple languages.
  • Ideally familiar with web analytical reporting tools (e.g Omniture, Google Analytics).
  • Analytical mind with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise responsibilities in line with business objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal colleagues.
  • Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills.
  • Must be flexible, collaborative, and has excellent relationship building skills.
