JOB BRIEF

We are looking for an Educational Consultant to join our team. This is a great opportunity to experience a wide-ranging educationally focussed role, spanning client management, providing guardianship support, mentoring and admissions guidance. Given the small size of the team, this role would benefit a proactive self-starter who is able to work well in an unstructured environment sometimes outside of normal working hours. There is a significant opportunity for you to grow with the business if successful. You will join a tight-knit and expanding team with real responsibility from day one. This role reports to the founders and Head of Guardianship

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Client communication – pre and post-sale with families and their children

● Accompanying our clients on school visits around the UK

● Administrative tasks – wide-ranging, from managing our students' expense accounts to helping us to ensure safeguarding compliance

● Supporting our guardianship service by responding to guardianship requests from our students/parents

● Competent communication for our demanding clients

REQUIREMENTS

● Motivated and driven to succeed in an unstructured environment

● London-based

● Fluent Mandarin and English speaker

● A keen interest in the field of education and pastoral care

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Client focus – able to understand and solve issues through the eyes of our clients

● Attention to detail – our clients have very high standards

● Excellent time-management, organisational and multi-tasking skills

● Familiarity with mainstream Chinese social media (including but not limited to: Douyin, Red, Weibo, WeChat)

● Knowledge of UK Independent School system a bonus
