Civil Engineer Position
Client Company is seeking qualified individuals for a Civil Design position to support land development projects. Street, water, sewer, site plan design experience in Civil 3D series software required. Land use, survey, and project management knowledge is a plus. Pay and benefit package commensurate with experience. Health insurance, vision, dental, bonus, retirement, flexible schedules, and work/live environment. We are looking for an innovative Civil engineer to help design, develop and construct a wide range of projects from conception through to completion.
Responsibilities
· Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small to large scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
· Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
· Carry out technical and feasibility studies and create construction documents that satisfy technical specifications
· Assess potential risks, materials and costs
· Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
· Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
· Process applications and submittals
· Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
· Manage budget and costing
· Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
Skills
· Proven working experience in civil engineering
· Excellent knowledge of design software sp. AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
· Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals
· Project management and supervision skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Licensure as a professional engineer in the state of Oregon preferred

Job Functions:
· Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create construction plans.
· Create and finalize designs of water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer systems using local criteria and common engineering design equations.
· Provide technical guidance to industry or managerial personnel regarding design, construction, or program modifications.
· Coordinate schedules with contractors, construction managers, and the survey department to provide solutions for any issues that might arise through the course of construction.
· Prepare and present due diligence/feasibility reports on properties of interest.
· Prepare and deliver bid documents, contract documents, cost estimates, and various project proposals to city engineers and clients.
· Attend meetings with city staff, clients, architects, and contractors.
· Manage multiple project assignments with various deadlines.
Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
· Minimum 3 year of civil engineering experience in land development
· Prepare and present due diligence/feasibility reports on properties of interest.
