Role Profile

Department description:

LCH SA is responsible for clearing for the members and clients currently registered for the service with LCH SA. LCH SA IT departments develop and maintain IT Application in charge of the entire clearing process.

IT Shared Apps department is in charge of all transversal applications used within the clearing house.

Team description:

The IT team develops, tests , deploy and supports the technology for LCH business service. The systems enable to complete overnight and intraday margin calculations for members and provide reports to members and regulators.

Role description:

The role is for an IT Test & Delivery Manager to join the QA Team within LCH SA IT Shared Applications department. The individual filling this role will be a business focused problem solver with a desire to learn and closely partner with highly engaged production Risk and Operations teams to maintain the smooth running of critical Financial Services Market infrastructure. The IT Test & Delivery Manager is in-charge of ensuring all applications deliverables and deployment during and outside of business hours on Production and Test environments.

The role will be based in Paris. Strong verbal and written English skills are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of IT and member test environments
  • Validation of updates of application user guide following releases
  • Test and validation of fix and enhancement on IT Shared Apps applications
  • Validation and historization of test results
  • Automation of end-to-end testing
  • Accompany projects of IT Shared Apps perimeter to ensure testing perimeter is up to date
  • Be the point of contact for IT Shared Apps teams on testing and release management
  • Define with his/her collaborators the test uses cases for IT Shared Apps applications
  • Provide support when member tests campaigns are launched
  • Provide frequent statuses on tests perimeter and topics she/he leads
  • Organize and lead the Release Management & Testing team
  • Provide action and remediation plans when necessary
  • Participate to performances reviews in collaboration with IT Shared Apps Director
  • Participate in recruitment and ensure integration of new joiner in her/his team
  • Participate and be responsible for construction, run and deliveries of his pole (planning, resources, budget)
  • Organize governance of her/his initiatives and coordinate with all internal and external participants to ensure deliveries and budget deadlines

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

  • > 3 years' experience in team management, in banking and/or financial markets perimeters
  • > 5 years' experience in business analysis or testing in banking and/or financial markets perimeters
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and clear communicator who will demonstrate initiative and escalate issues quickly when required.
  • Strong understanding of control environment applicable in the regulated Financial Services industry covering key market infrastructure as well as the different controls applied to development, test and production environments.
  • Awareness of Agile methodology standards and process.
  • Proactive and clear communicator who will demonstrate initiative and escalate issues quickly when required.
  • Strong verbal and written French and English skills.
  • Team spirit, and capacity to work in multicultural and distributed teams
  • Innovation capacity to solve problems and be pro-active in problem resolution
  • Strong capacity to propose and lead initiatives
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Capacity to work in a stress and changing environment

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management tools such as Service Now
  • Some experience of coding scripts in a Unix environment and programming in a language such as Java
