Job Description

The Talent Set are excited to be working with a prestigious health membership organisation who are looking for a creative Digital Content Officer.

As the Digital Content Officer, you’ll play a key role in creating and delivering engaging and inspiring content across the website and social media. This role will play a huge part in the organisation's website maintenance, consistently delivering engaging content to motivate and inspire their audience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the organisations digital channels including website, social media platforms and newsletters.
  • Create informative and engaging written content across all digital channels, including the development of appropriate multimedia elements.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of digital channels/activities, including the use of search engine optimisation, to drive greater engagement with target audiences.
  • Commission, draft and edit content for member communications and the website, including blogs.
  • Support teams across the organisation by providing expert advice on creating impactful communications and acting as the communications lead on projects.
  • Play a leading role in the website redevelopment project.

To do this the right candidate will have:

  • Exceptional written skills, with the ability to adapt written style for social channels and website.
  • Experience in managing online content and developing the online presence of an organisation with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with WordPress, search engine optimisation (SEO), Google Analytics.
  • Experience in developing and managing social media campaigns across channels such as X, Facebook and Instagram, using tools like Hootsuite/Buffer.
  • Able to deliver a range of concurrent projects, on time and to budget.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast moving and pressured communications environment.
  • Understanding of or experience in developing email marketing campaigns, preferably using DotDigital or similar web-based solutions.
