We've built BeReal with a tiny technology team of world-class engineers and we intend to keep this mindset as we scale it to hundreds of millions of users. To achieve this, we ship new features faster than any other scaled social network while upgrading our infrastructure. We work in small teams of generalists and give each engineer high autonomy to make product related decisions.

- Implement, deploy, and maintain highly-scalable iOS features for a social app used by millions of users.
- Analyze and understand user needs.
- Design and challenge new features in partnership with designers and data analysts.
- Assess the technical, user, and business impact of features you ship.
- Contribute to best practices in the tech team and especially in the mobile team.
- Contribute to innovation in the iOS stack (Swift, SwiftUI).

- Ops: Github, CircleCI.
- Android: Compose.
- Backend: Node.js, Fastify, Socket.io, Firebase.
- Database: MongoDB, Redis.
- Infrastructure: Cloud Run, Cloud functions, Bucket, S3, CloudFront.
- Data: Amplitude, Tableau.
Profile
- Excellent iOS programming skills (5+ years experience).
- Strong knowledge in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- SwiftUI concrete projects and proven experience.
- iOS architecture app skills.
- Product mindset with a strong passion for clean interfaces, smooth animations, and interactions.
- Interest for analytics and data-first mindset.
- You're highly driven, autonomous, and results oriented.
- Be fluent in English
