Job description : Responsibilities : - Perform patching, testing, and upgrades for Z/OS systems - Develop and maintain code utilizing REXX and Tivoli Netview - Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system installations - Diagnose and troubleshoot system errors and performance issues - Conduct thorough testing of patches and upgrades to ensure functionality - Document installation and upgrade procedures and outcomes - Monitor system performance and recommend improvements based on testing results Requirements : - Proven experience with Z/OS systems management - Strong proficiency in coding with REXX and Tivoli Netview - Experience in patch management and system upgrades - Ability to conduct and document effective testing processes - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Understanding of system performance monitoring tools and techniques Skills required : - Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of IBM Z/OS Mainframe Automation products. Proactive automation solutions, including project lead. Client collaboration projects, and technical refresh. Innovative solution design. - Testing, Change and Problem Management. Microsoft Office Suite, training/peering of graduates. - Experience and Expertise on software migration and maintenance procedures - Install, backout, re-migration process. - Experience and good exposure to unsupported, new features in the recent versions. - Patching, testing, upgrades, installation. Coding for Z/OS, REXX, Tivoli Netview, Systems Automation for Z/OS, WAC ( IBM Worldwide Automation Configurator ) , COBOL, RPG, JCL, PROCS. Good overall knowledge in all facets of IT.
